have never understood why things happened the way they did. nor have i understood why they had to occur at all. Life is always full of the unexpected; while the expected never did seem to arrive. the sun is always shining bright, but why am i always feeling so cold inside? i am awake but my eyes do not see the world i want to see what will we have forever in our life? Nothing-changes and death are the only constants.

eVeryDay ShD b a hAppY dAY! :)

Hee... Yes, I am officially 23 years old now. And maybe it means that I am more mature, independent and knowledgeable! This is my first birthday overseas, away from my family and all my friends. :(

But I was pleasantly surprised last Friday when the rest of the STRAT students organized a surprise birthday dinner for me (although someone let the cat of the bag that morning). I was still very delighted and caught unaware. I thought we were just having a dinner together, but EVERYONE was there, there was a HUGH CAKE, LOTS OF PRESENTS and LOADS Of WISHES AND FUN! THank you everyone!! Thanks for making that day so memorable!!

We had dinner at this Thai Restaurant when all of a sudden, a cake was placed right in front of me! Go to Picasaweb for more pictures of that evening!!!

Over the weekend before my birthday, I went to London for the Thames Festival and I saw Fidel and Andy there! It is nice seeing Fidel after so long!! :)

And the next day, I went to this TAP student's (Elaine's) place to enjoy a sumptuous meal!! The food was delicious! Heehee :)

Also - over the weekend - I decided to try baking another cake - this time round, it's to bring for my colleagues and the other students. It didn't look too good... But hey, it's a chocolate cake (so nothing went too wrong, and everyone loved it) I didn't get to try much though... I think I should focus on beautifying the cake next time... Here are the pictures of the cake!
