Yesterday I went to collect my laptop (now named Blackie) back from the HP Service Centre. If you have read daph's entry about it, believe her!!! It's really a great place. That place is simply awesome and cool!! With the free flow of coffee, tea and milo from the dispenser, the nice cushy seats with armrest and the computers with free internet access, it would make you feel rather puzzled as to why you have walked into a cafe, instead of HP Service Centre. HP Service Centre is really wonderful! Thumbs up! I think I love it. I have mentioned HP Service Centre so many times just in a short paragraphHere is why HP Service Centre has woahed me:

1) The queue was really short. *even if it was long, i would have minded as I could have beening surfing away and just reading my stuffs in one of the cosy chairs. Hehehe :)

2) The service personnel was commendable. He was friendly and really patient with me. Great service attitude! And he can recognize me. How did I know that? Instead of using the machine and signal for me to go over to the counter with the queue number, he asked me to follow him to his counter when he happened to walk past me.

3)The time taken for them to repair simple things was short - baru 45 menit. So short. The hinge was repaired while I did some readinsg.

4) When the hinge problem was solved, I was complaining and asking about this black patch that appeared permanently since a few months back. After taking a look at it and asking a few of the colleagues, he told me that they could replace it for me!!! I was so thrilled!! A SCREEN!! A BRAND NEW SCREEN!!!!

5)The LCD screen could have cost me $994.But instead, it's free!!! (coz my laptop is still under warranty) hahahahha!!!!!

6) They finished repairing it ahead of the stipulated time and had even offered to send it to my place. Great!! But no. I want to go there and collect it on the spot, so that I could check it straight away to make sure that Blackie was perfectly alright! I don't want to waste another trip going down if Blackie still had problems.

Blackie now feels that he is already one year younger with the new LCD screen!! Heehee. I hope that nothing would happen to Blackie anymore!!!

Today I went to some florist at Thomson. It's called Ji Mei. Woah, they sell almost everything related to flowers there - from landscape to fresh flowers, and there's this really HUGE & freezing cold walk-in 'freezer' with a lot of fresh cut-flowers ready for purchase. There were roses there too. VERY CHEAP!! i think. It was like $7.40 for about 12 stalks, if I didn't remember wrongly. Now you can imagine how much people make from selling roses during valentines?!??!?! Woah!
