have never understood why things happened the way they did. nor have i understood why they had to occur at all. Life is always full of the unexpected; while the expected never did seem to arrive. the sun is always shining bright, but why am i always feeling so cold inside? i am awake but my eyes do not see the world i want to see what will we have forever in our life? Nothing-changes and death are the only constants.

eVeryDay ShD b a hAppY dAY! :)

My buttocks hurts now... very very painfu, i must emphasize... I can't even sit properly. But it's worth the pain, every single ache and pain.

I went night cycling last night with some of my classmates from german class.

We started off from Mcdonald's at East Coast Park. From there, we cycled till somewhere near Dunman High School and on... and on... till this Bridge at Kallang. There is a Cosy Bar at one side of the bridge. And overall, the entire place looks rather pretty at night.

Then on from there, we had wanted to proceed to Suntec... We used Nicoll highway... and so far so good, until we reached a point where we couldn't proceed on. So byebye Suntec, and hello to Esplanade. The road leading to the Esplanade was rather dark and quiet (I didn't quite like them). So gals, don't cycle there alone!!

When we were approaching Esplanade, i was this little coach. Then i thought to myself, what are tourists doing here at such late hours. And i thought saw someone tall and in black walked past me. *Darned...didn't know who that was initially* Then when we went further, i realised that there was actually some shooting jsut earlier on. And the person who walked past me... or rather, the person whom i cycled past... was Chao Guo Hui... Wasted, should have asked him to take a picture together. Hahah... although i am not a fan of any particular mediacorp actors/actresses. Anywayz... we were all tired.

SO STOP NUMBER ONE: MAKAN SUTRA, GLUTTONS BAY

we stopped there and had fried hokkien mee, fried carrot cake & siew mai. YUMMY!!! And of course, no Singapore hawker food is ever complete without sugar cane drink!!!
After which, we proceed to Padang... standing at the middle and looking at the surrounding buildings, they are gorgeous!

We then went to SMU and explore their buildings and architecture... they are nice and new, but not that impressive though. Although one thing interested me - the lights found at the building of School of Informations System (hope i didn't get it wrongly). According to my friend, although you thought you see a lightbulb shining right at the top of the lamp, that is actually due to some angles and consequent reflections of the light from the bulb right at the bottom of the lamp. To me, it was a nice display of how physics is demostrated in an artistic manner. Anywayz, the effect is rather alluring.

From SMU, we cycled on to Little India and Mustafa. Didn't stay long there. We can't do any grocery shoppin, as we still had to cycle back to East Coast Park. Haikz... Well... Then from little India... on we go to Lavendar Road... and found our way to Kallang!!!!! Yeay... we weren't lost.
We were all suffering from aches and pains.. or maybe it was just me.

SO SECOND STOP: Secluded Roti Prata Store besides the Bus Interchange.

We didn't eat. We just wanted rest. So we drank Teh.

Talked and rested for an hour before we set off again. We went immer geradeaus, through sims ave, paya lebar, eunos, kembangan. Then from there, we cycled through this Siglap Park Connector. Well, to me, the ride through there was quite fun. There were many private properties to look at. And there was this particular one - hugh and long house - that caught my attention. *I so want to go in and have a look*

We came to this junction and could choose to turn left to go Siglap or straight to go back to East Coast. We were hungry again and opted for the option to go to Siglap, hoping that Killiney Kopitiam would be opened. The time was about 5am... Nope, Killiney Kopitiam is not opened 24 hours. HAikz... We contemplated for a long time and finally decided to go back to Bedok Jetty at East Coast Park. Roads are bumpy but the wind was cooling and felt nice on the skin. After some mistakes, we finally make it there. And we were just in time for SUNRISE!!! Yippee!!

Hunger overcame us, and so did Tiredness... But in any case, or rather every case, Hunger almost always wins!!! =) So we had McDonald's breakfast. Back to where we started. Zhong Ji Mi Ma is not a nice game. And all present learnt that MAPLE SYRUP is nice and addictive!! Well, it goes well with almost anything on the breakfast menu!!! =) Do try it!

Home sweet home with an aching buttock. I had fun!! It had been ages since i went night cycling, let alone night cycling. Looking forward to the next one... heehee
